So you want to tie the knot

Congratulations on your engagement! We celebrate marriage at WCC, as it is a model for the way Christ loves His Church, "the Bride." (Ephesians 5:21-33)
The pastors of WCC will joyfully perform the wedding ceremony of a couple who:
  • regularly attends WCC (so that we can get to know you)
  • receives weekly pre-marital counseling until the pastors are confident the engaged couple is set up for a successful marriage

Why these guidelines?

It's simple: we want you to have a happy, healthy, and long-lasting marriage. For your sake, we'd rather not officiate a wedding that we are not confident will result in such a thing.

​The only way to know that is to get to know you, and identify the areas in your relationship that need to be addressed before saying "I do."
