One God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven, and future return in power and glory. We believe Jesus is the full expression of God and ultimate revelation of His will to humanity.
The Holy Spirit as the active agent in the world today, convicting individuals of sin, empowering believers for Christian living, and distributing spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church, including prayer for the healing of the body. We believe and earnestly seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as an experience that is distinct from salvation.
The sacrificial, atoning death of Christ on the cross as the only means of eternal salvation; it is a free gift, received by faith through grace, and cannot be earned by good works or human effort.
Heaven and hell, each as a real place, and the ultimate fulfillment of a person's individual will: the one, everlasting life in the presence of the God; the other, "everlasting death" in the total and complete absence of God. We believe salvation is God's will for every person.
The Bible as the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God. We believe in the necessity of the Holy Spirit to illuminate its pages so that we may properly interpret and apply its wisdom.
The Kingdom of God as an invisible, eternal, and permeating realm of divine rulership. It was inaugurated by Jesus Christ at His first coming, and will be consummated with His second coming. It is not represented by any geographical location or nation on earth, and its "citizens" are Christians from "every tongue, tribe and nation."
The Church as the Body of Christ, composed of all believers worldwide. We also affirm the vital importance of belonging to a local church and gathering consistently for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and ministry.
The value and dignity of every human being; every person is created in the image of God, and worthy of redemption by Jesus' atoning sacrifice on the cross. We believe the church should reflect this belief in the way we treat individuals of every race, socioeconomic status, lifestyle and political or religious persuasion.
Water Baptism; we practice believer's baptism by immersion in water, signifying the believer's identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and as a public declaration of faith in Christ and rebirth into a spiritual family (the Church).
Celebrating the Lord's Supper (Communion) as a remembrance of His sacrificial death on the cross, and of authentic communion and unity with each other in the Body of Christ.
The Great Commission: we embrace Jesus’ Great Commission, committing ourselves to share the Gospel, make disciples, and engage in acts of compassion and justice in our community and beyond.
The Second Coming of Christ: we eagerly anticipate the return of Jesus Christ, and look forward to that day and time when He will establish His Kingdom in “a new heavens and a new earth,” judge the living and the dead, and usher in the consummation of God's redemptive plan.
