The Pastoral Family

David Bogdan
Dave earned a graduate degree in Chemistry from Cornell University and is an entrepreneur at heart, having founded and operated his own environmental monitoring business for fifteen years. He enjoys spending time relaxing with his family or getting to know new people. He is presently employed at the Sullivan Park research plant of Corning Incorporated. Dave’s passion is in knowing and doing God’s will; that has included serving in the local church, interacting with colleagues in the laboratory, and working as a businessman.

Faith Bogdan
Faith is an author and speaker with a Bachelor of Christian Ministry Degree from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary in Ridgely, MD. She is passionate about encouraging spiritual growth in the Church by bringing the Bible to life through relevant and applicable teaching.

The Bogdans have four daughters who are also servant-ministers at WCC: Anna, Sarah, Rebecca, and Ruth.

Board of Elders/Deacons
WCC is governed by a board of  "trustees" (elders/deacons). We are always looking for Kingdom-minded people to join our leadership team who possess at least the following qualities:

A love for the Kingdom of God over and above the "kingdom of America" (not political-minded to the point of driving away potential church visitors or creating division).
An understanding that our church finances are "Kingdom money" to be invested into the lives of people, both locally and globally. We practice radical generosity.
Compassion for all people of every race, nation, sexual orientation, and political persuasion.
An all-consuming love for Jesus and His Word as it applies to our everyday lives.
A team-player attitude, given to humble service wherever needed. This is a pastoral role and requires a willingness to care sacrificially for people.
